I didn't want to have this one gathered seam be serged or raw zigzagged when the rest of the interior was so neatly finished. I've been trying to up my game with interior finishes, made the rest of this garment with (quite pretty, I must say) french seams and the yucky gathered part was upsetting. And bias tape is so bulky and harsh looking.
